Vagabundo (“we”, “us”, “our”) is a mobile application that helps you plan trips and itineraries. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use the app and this website.

1. Information we collect

Vagabundo is designed to collect as little personal data as reasonably possible.

  • Account data – If the app offers sign-in, we may store your email address and a display name to keep your saved plans.
  • Usage data – We may collect anonymised analytics about how the app and website are used (for example, which screens are opened) to help us improve the product.
  • Location data – When you enable it, the app can use your approximate location to improve route suggestions for road trips. You can disable this at any time in your device settings.

2. How we use information

  • To generate and store your itineraries and trip preferences.
  • To operate and improve the app and website.
  • To prevent abuse, debug issues and keep the service reliable.

3. Third-party services

Vagabundo integrates with third-party services such as mapping providers, authentication services (e.g. Apple or Google sign-in) and external booking sites (for accommodation, car rental, bikes or ferry tickets).

When you follow a link or open an external booking service, you are subject to that provider’s own privacy policy and terms. Some links may be affiliate links. If you make a booking, we may receive a small commission at no extra cost to you.

4. Data storage and retention

Trip plans and account data (if any) are stored securely using reputable cloud providers. We keep this information for as long as your account is active or as long as needed to operate the service, unless you request deletion where applicable.

5. Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct or delete your personal data, or to object to certain types of processing. To submit a request, contact us at privacy@yourdomain.com.

6. Children

Vagabundo is not designed for children under 16 to create their own accounts. Parents and guardians should supervise use where applicable.

7. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Important changes may also be highlighted in the app or on the website.
